A theoretical input summarizing the (French) history of social and solidarity economy till the latest law recognizing SSE in France
The slides aim at exploring SSE in history, how everything started, how two histories (social economy and solidarity economy) were born with different purposes before becoming one SSE. It also creates links to the French history of popular education. It ends with introduction to the latest law on SSE (2014) bringing recognition to the field.
One slide has been published in English (2 definitions for social economy and for solidarity economy) as they might be useful for non French people.
