A cooperative story

Tool Description

It is 18-minute video where members of Cheeseboard workers’ coop  (Berkley, California) talk about their internal governance, its challenges and benefits, and also their networking practice.

The cooperative, made of 65 members, is based on the “equal pay for equal work” concept. In fact, the coop adopted an innovative and horizontal organizational structure and demonstrates that another way of working is possible. This short documentary gives insights of how an old cooperative developed throughout the years, how they govern themselves and how they practice collaborative networking.
